SUKISOK Announces New Editor-in-Chief
The SUKISOK Journal of the Arts and Sciences (eISSN 3028-1792), the official scholarly journal of Isabela State University – Cauayan Campus, is pleased to announce the appointment of Concordia Marie A. Lagasca-Hiloma as its new Editor-in-Chief, effective beginning Volume 6, Issue 3 (December 2026).
Prior to this appointment, Lagasca-Hiloma served as the Journal’s Managing Editor, overseeing manuscript submissions, coordinating peer-review processes, facilitating editorial correspondence, and managing publication activities. Her appointment marks a transition in the Journal’s editorial leadership as SUKISOK continues to strengthen its editorial practices, scholarly visibility, and national and international engagement.

The Journal also extends its appreciation to Prof. Paul Angelo A. Tamayo, PhD, who served as Chief Editor through Volume 6, Issue 2 (August 2026), for his service and contributions to SUKISOK.
Under its new editorial leadership, SUKISOK remains committed to promoting interdisciplinary scholarship across the arts and sciences, maintaining rigorous and ethical peer-review practices, and providing an accessible platform for research dissemination through its diamond open-access publishing model.
The Journal likewise expresses its gratitude to the University and Campus administration, particularly Prof. Boyet L. Batang, University President, and Prof. Marisol S. Foronda, Cluster Executive Officer, for their continued support of scholarly publication and research dissemination.
As SUKISOK enters this new chapter, it looks forward to strengthening its collaboration with authors, reviewers, editorial and advisory board members, and academic institutions within and beyond the Philippines.
